"The breath is the bridge between the conscious and the sub-conscious mind. And that is how one can control the other." (Unk).
The results of several clinical studies suggest that regular participation in Tai Chi can help with balance, circulation, muscle strength, stress release, gait problems, neurodegenerative issues, and general well-being. Our classes are specifically designed for persons with physical limitations, and are open to all levels of Tai Chi experience. Beginners and first-timers are welcome.
The Tai Chi class includes: Chinese meditation, Qi Gong (working with energy), movement drills, and several Yang style Tai Chi Forms. The Tai Chi forms include: Yang 8 Form, Taoist 18 Form, Yang 24 Form, and the Yang 48 Form.

The Tai Chi instructor, Norm Gill, has studied Tai Chi for 30 years, and has taught for 20 years. He has been to China 9 times to study Tai Chi, and has lived with his Tai Chi master on several occasions. He has taught at various venues: Departments of Parks and Recreation, fitness spas, US military, Texas Neuropathy Alliance, and the US Embassy, Paris, France. He currently teaches at Sun City, GT, and for the Military Adaptive Reconditioning Program (MARP) at Fort Hood.
